Australian Metal Recycling (AMR) partners with industrial and commercial businesses across Australia to deliver effective, reliable and transparent scrap metal recycling. We handle both ferrous and non-ferrous material, and our people understand the demands of large-scale operations. It's work that takes practical thinking, good judgement and a team that gets the job done properly.

We operate seven yards across NSW, and our Wyong depot is a key part of that network. We're looking for a reliable, hands‑on Truck Driver to join the team.

Collecting and transporting scrap metal from customers and suppliers

Operating crane trucks to safely load and unload materials

Assisting with general yard duties, including sorting and processing scrap metal

Completing vehicle inspections and maintaining equipment

Following safe work procedures and ensuring loads are secured correctly

Working closely with the yard team to keep operations running smoothly

This is a hands‑on role that combines driving with yard operations. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 7.30am-4.00pm, with a mix of time on the road and in the yard.

About you

Current unrestricted HR driver's licence (essential)

Experience operating heavy vehicles, with crane truck experience highly regarded

Excavator experience is desirable but not essential, with training available for the right candidate

A genuine commitment to safety and doing things properly

Reliable, practical and willing to get involved in all aspects of yard operations

Able to work independently and as part of a team

What we offer

A permanent, full time role with a stable and growing business

Monday to Friday hours

Training and opportunities to develop additional machinery operating skills
