About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an approachable and caring Learning Support Teacher to join the supportive team at James Sheahan Catholic High School Orange, NSW. The Learning Support Teacher in a Catholic school is someone who can work with other members of the school to ensure that the 'Support for all' goal is alive and embedded into all practices within the Learning & Teaching environment of the school.

About You

We are looking for someone who can address the following selection criteria:

- Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.
- Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.
- Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.
- Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.
- Liaising with parents and allied health professionals to support their students engagement in learning
- Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contributing to school life.
