Payroll Officer

Hays Accountancy & Finance is partnering with a well-established organisation based in Adelaide's southern suburbs to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who is confident managing the full end-to-end payroll process within a fast-paced environment.
Your new Role
Reporting to the broader Finance team, you will be responsible for delivering an accurate and timely payroll service.Your responsibilities will include:
End-to-end payroll processing
Processing payroll using SAP
Managing new starters, terminations and employee variations
Processing leave, allowances and payroll adjustments
Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records
Payroll reconciliations and reporting
Superannuation, PAYG and taxation requirements
Responding to payroll queries from employees and internal stakeholders
Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and within required deadlines
Supporting the wider finance team when required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:




Proven end-to-end payroll experience
Previous experience using SAP
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll processes
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Robust reconciliation and problem-solving skills
Confidence working to strict payroll deadlines
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
