Western Sydney | Residential & Mixed-Use Development

An established and growing Sydney-based property developer-builder is looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager to join its development and construction team.

This is a hands-on role offering involvement across the full design lifecycle, working closely with internal development and construction teams alongside architects, consultants and contractors to ensure projects are coordinated, commercially viable and ultimately deliverable.

You will be responsible for:

- Managing the design process across residential and mixed-use development projects
- Coordinating architects, engineers and specialist design consultants
- Driving design from early concept through DA, detailed design, construction documentation and delivery
- Reviewing drawings,



specifications and consultant documentation
- Identifying design risks, coordination issues and opportunities for value engineering
- Ensuring designs remain aligned with project budgets, programmes and construction requirements
- Working closely with Development Managers, Project Managers and site teams
- Managing design changes throughout the construction phase
- Facilitating design workshops and consultant meetings
- Ensuring information is issued accurately and in line with project programmes
- Maintaining design quality while balancing commercial and buildability considerations
