Australia’s first Saizeriya is opening at Highpoint Shopping Centre — and we’re hiring!

Join the opening team of one of Japan’s best-known casual dining brands, with a clear pathway from casual to permanent part-time employment.

Saizeriya operates more than 1,700 restaurants across Japan and Asia. Now, the brand is bringing its affordable Italian-style dining experience to Australia, with its first restaurant scheduled to open in November 2026.

We’re looking for reliable, customer-focused team members who want to grow with the business — starting as casual and transitioning to a permanent part-time contract following a successful trial period.

Your role will include customer service, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and assisting with food preparation.

Position Details

- Location: Highpoint Shopping Centre, Maribyrnong VIC 3032
- Employment: Casual, transitioning to permanent part-time
- Casual pay: From $33.85 per hour, plus applicable weekend and public holiday penalty rates
- Part-time pay: $28.00 per hour, with annual leave and personal leave entitlements
- Expected hours: 10–25 hours per week
- Work arrangement: On-site
- Availability: Daytime, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts
- RSA: Valid Victorian RSA certificate required
- Meal allowance: Provided on days worked
- Opening team applications close: 5 November 2026

- Handle cash and card transactions accurately

- Assist with food preparation
- Maintain a clean, secure and welcoming restaurant
- Help the team prepare for daily service

Essential

- A valid Victorian RSA certificate
- Flexibility to work across daytime, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts

- A reliable, customer-focused approach

Desirable

- Previous experience in a fast-paced cafe, bar or restaurant

No previous hospitality experience? That’s fine. Training will be provided to help you learn the role.

Working Hour

Starting as casual, with expected hours of 10–25 per week. Daytime, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts may be required. Following a successful trial period, the role transitions to a permanent part-time contract.

Salary range

Casual: From $33.85 per hour,



plus applicable weekend and public holiday penalty rates.

Part-time: $28.00 per hour, with annual leave and personal leave entitlements included.

Working flexibility

On-site restaurant work with flexibility required across different shifts.

Start From

November 2026 (new restaurant opening). Exact commencement and training dates will be confirmed by Saizeriya.
