Clinical Assistant# Careers## Clinical AssistantApply: Peel Health: Variable time: Posted Today: JR101639**ABOUT THE ROLE** As a **Clinical Assistant**, you will provide essential support to our team of Radiographers, Sonographers, and Nurses while ensuring patients receive a high standard of care at our busy **Peel Health Campus.** This is a role, offering flexibility and exposure across multiple imaging services. **Key responsibilities:** * Assisting radiographers and other clinical staff during imaging procedures* Supporting patient care by understanding relevant clinical backgrounds and ensuring accurate patient identification* Preparing and supporting patients before, during, and after imaging examinations* Undertaking patient cannulation and preparation for imaging across multiple modalities, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, and interventional procedures* Obtaining and confirming patient consent in accordance with clinical and organisational policies* Patient transport and provision of general clinical assistance* Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environment* Stock management and preparation of imaging equipment* Adhering to infection control standards and workplace health and safety requirements **About You** * Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting (desirable but not essential)* Certificate III or IV in Health Services Assistance or similar (preferred but not required)* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused* Flexible availability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment* Reliable with a strong work ethic**FOR YOU** **Competitive Salary:** Attractive salary with annual reviews to recognize your contributions. **Paid Parental Leave:** Additional leave to support new parents.
