Commissioning Pipe Fitters - Major FIFO Project

CGC Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Commissioning Pipe Fitters for one of Australia's largest and most significant oil & gas developments, based in Karratha. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in the final stages of a world-class LNG project as it moves through pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up. Candidates will play a critical role in bringing major process systems online while benefiting from industry-leading rates, long-term job security, and the prospect to add a flagship project to their resume. Key Responsibilities

- Conducting mechanical completion and commissioning activities on piping systems
- Loop checking, pressure testing,



flushing and reinstatement of process pipework
- Removal and installation of blinds, spades and spectacle blinds as required
- Leak testing and troubleshooting piping systems prior to handover
- Verifying installed pipework against P&IDs;, isometrics and commissioning documentation
- Supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning teams during system start-up activities
- Identifying and rectifying punch list items and mechanical defects
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with project procedures and quality requirements

About You

- Proven experience as a Commissioning Pipe Fitter within the oil & gas, LNG or major resources sector
- Strong understanding of pre-commissioning and commissioning processes
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, isometric drawings and test packs
- Trade qualification preferred (Cert III Engineering - Mechanical or equivalent)
- White Card / Construction Industry Card
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- EWP (Above 11m)
- Gas Testing (desirable)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (desirable)
