Company Join an established mechanical services contractor delivering HVAC projects across a range of sectors. With a growing workload and plans to expand its drafting function, the business is looking to bring on an experienced HVAC Draftsperson to support its project delivery team.

This is an prospect to join a contractor-side environment where your drawings directly contribute to project delivery, with the chance to play a key role in the growth of the drafting team over the coming years.

The Role
Working closely with the construction and project teams, you will be responsible for producing detailed mechanical services drawings to support the delivery of HVAC projects from coordination through to installation.

Key responsibilities:

- Produce detailed HVAC shop drawings and installation drawings for mechanical services projects.
- Develop coordinated drawings to support on-site installation and project delivery.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to resolve design and coordination issues.
- Review drawings for accuracy, buildability and compliance with project requirements.
- Assist with drawing revisions and updates throughout the construction process.

The Role

you will be responsible for producing detailed mechanical services drawings to support the delivery of HVAC projects from coordination through to installation.

About You

- A few years' experience in mechanical drafting, ideally within an HVAC mechanical contractor.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork layouts and mechanical services installation.
- Experience producing detailed shop drawings and coordinated construction documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- A practical, detail-oriented approach with an understanding of construction methodology and site requirements.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project and site teams.

Important: This role is suited to someone with a mechanical contracting background rather than a consulting-only drafting background.
