We are looking for an experienced and practical Safety Manager / WHS Advisor to lead and manage workplace health and safety across our business.

About the Role

Working closely with our management team, Project Managers and site personnel, you will take responsibility for overseeing and continually improving our company's workplace health and safety performance.

We are seeking someone who understands construction, enjoys working with people and can balance legislative compliance with practical, sensible safety management.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing and maintaining our WHS Management System.
- Supporting Project Managers and site teams with practical safety advice.
- Conducting site inspections, audits and safety reviews.




- Monitoring legislative compliance and company safety obligations.
- Reviewing SWMS, risk assessments and safe work procedures.Coordinating incident investigations, corrective actions and reporting.
- Supporting staff inductions, training and safety awareness.
- Promoting a positive, proactive and accountable safety culture.
- Working with management to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

About You

Ideally, you will bring:

- Experience in workplace health and safety within the construction industry.
- A sound understanding of Queensland WHS legislation and construction safety requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The confidence to engage positively with workers, subcontractors and management.
- A practical, organised and solutions-focused approach.
- We value experience, sound judgement and the ability to work collaboratively.
