QHC Group is a growing Brisbane residential building company looking for an experienced Residential Estimator to become a key part of the team. You'll work directly with the builder and directors and have genuine ownership of the estimating process from project pricing through to construction.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing accurate residential construction estimates and costings
- Completing quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering plans
- Obtaining and assessing subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Preparing scopes of work and purchase orders
- Reviewing plans, engineering and specifications for discrepancies
- Managing variations and maintaining accurate project costs
- Working closely with the builder, supervisors, suppliers and subcontractors
- Helping improve QHC's estimating systems and processes

About you





- Understanding of how a house is actually built
- Organised and commercially minded
- Confident reading construction drawings
- Comfortable taking ownership of your work
- Experience with residential estimating software highly regarded
