Job Description

RIZQ AUTOMOTIVE GROUP PTY LTD In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of petrol engines and the mechanical systems of light motor vehicles, including transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes. You will work independently and as part of a team to deliver safe, reliable and high-quality results for our customers.

Responsibilities

- Identifying and diagnosing faults in engines, mechanical systems and components.
- Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems and other components, and inspecting parts for wear or damage.
- Repairing or replacing worn and faulty parts and reassembling mechanical components, using manufacturer service manuals where required.
- Carrying out scheduled servicing, including oil changes, lubrication and engine tune-ups, to keep vehicles running smoothly and in line with emissions standards.
- Reassembling engines and components following repair.
- Testing and adjusting repaired parts to confirm correct operation and performance.




- Using computerised diagnostic equipment to test components and pinpoint faults.
- Conducting vehicle inspections, issuing roadworthiness certificates where applicable, or advising on work needed to bring vehicles to roadworthy standard.
- Maintaining, testing and repairing petrol engines and the mechanical parts of light vehicles, including transmissions, suspension, steering and brake systems.

Qualifications & Experience

- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent relevant qualification).
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic.
- Sound knowledge of light vehicle mechanical and diagnostic systems.

- Confidence using computerised diagnostic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
