About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, motivated and detail-oriented Casual Housekeeping Attendant to join our housekeeping team at No. 9 Springfield Hotel.

In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and overall comfort of our guest rooms and hotel facilities. You will help ensure our rooms and communal areas are presented to a high standard, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

This casual position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work within a supportive, close-knit hospitality team in the heart of Potts Point.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and service guest rooms to a high standard, including vacuuming, dusting and bathroom sanitation.
- Change bed linen and replenish towels, toiletries and other guest amenities.
- Ensure guest rooms are presented neatly and consistently in line with hotel standards.
- Respond promptly to requests for additional towels, amenities and other housekeeping items.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damages or items requiring attention.
- Assist with cleaning corridors, communal areas and other public spaces as required.
- Maintain housekeeping trolleys, cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised condition.
- Follow all workplace health,



safety and hygiene procedures.
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping and other hotel team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests.

What We're Looking For

- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
- Solid attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently.
- Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work.
- A friendly, helpful attitude towards guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to undertake regular cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting and repetitive movements.
- Flexibility and willingness to work a range of casual shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- A commitment to workplace health, safety and hygiene standards.
