Surveyors - Project Surveyor to Survey Manager | FIFO & DIDO

$60-$90 per hour. FIFO and DIDO from all major cities on 2:1 and 2:2 rosters. Leica and 12d Field.

The roles

We’re hiring Project Surveyors through to Survey Managers for FIFO and DIDO roles on mining and renewables projects.

Project Surveyor: run day-to-day site survey work, including set-out, as-constructed and volume surveys

Senior Surveyor: lead site survey operations, control and machine guidance, and mentor junior staff

Survey Manager: oversee survey delivery across projects, including resourcing, QA and reporting, and be the key client contact

What you’ll do

Set-out and as-constructed surveys for haul roads, earthworks, pads, drainage and structures





Control network establishment and maintenance

Detail and volume surveys

Data collection and processing in 12d Field and 12d Model

Machine guidance model preparation and support

About you

Degree or diploma in Surveying or Spatial Science, or equivalent experience

Civil or mining survey experience: 2+ years (Project Surveyor), 5+ years (Senior), 8+ years with leadership (Manager)

Confident with Leica GNSS and robotic total stations

12d experience highly regarded

Current driver’s licence (manual an advantage)

Construction White Card

Mining inductions an advantage

Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

What we offer

$60-$90 per hour, depending on level and experience

2:1 (2 weeks on, 1 off) or 2:2 (2 weeks on, 2 off) rosters

Contemporary Leica gear, 12d Field controllers and a company vehicle on site
