Job Summary

You’ll support a significant data centre project currently in its early design stages, working across the broader networking team and alongside external vendors. The workplace is heavily Cisco-based, with a longer-term transition from Cisco ACI toward NX-OS forming part of the technology direction. Some operational activity will also be required alongside the project work.

What you’ll bring

- Cisco ACI
- Cisco Nexus / NX-OS
- VXLAN / EVPN
- Nexus Dashboard
- Cisco MDS SAN
- BGP
- Large-scale Data Centre networking environments

Experience with Citrix NetScaler / load balancing would also be highly regarded.

Additional experience that would be useful includes

- NVIDIA / Cumulus Linux switching and EVPN
- BIND DNS
- Smartoptics MUX
- AWS networking [Monash University | OneNote]

This is a hybrid role primarily based in Clayton, with data centre work also required from time to time. Some after-hours work will be required.
