Zilco International is seeking a proactive and personable Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team for a six-month maternity leave cover contract.
Equestrian experience with strong knowledge of saddlery and tack is essential. If you understand equestrian products, enjoy building customer relationships and have a flair for marketing, we would love to hear from you.
About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will support a broad range of sales and marketing activities, helping us connect with customers and promote our products.
This hands-on role combines customer service, sales order processing, marketing campaigns, social media and coordination of advertising and sponsorship activities. It also includes customer visits and attendance at trade shows and field days as required.
This is a temporary position specifically covering maternity leave, with an anticipated start in mid-December 2026 and finish in mid-June 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain customer relationships through telephone, email and in-store visits.
- Process and enter sales orders accurately and promptly.
- Work with the team to coordinate and deliver sales and marketing activities.
- Promote new products and special offers through telephone and email campaigns.
- Create, schedule and update social media content to engage our equestrian audience.
- Coordinate advertising and sponsorship activities.
- Attend trade shows and field days as required.
- Provide general administrative support to the sales and marketing team.
About you
You will bring:
- Essential equestrian experience and strong practical knowledge of saddlery and tack.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing coordination or a related customer-facing role.
- Excellent telephone manner and confident customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and accurate data entry skills.
- Confidence using social media platforms for business.
- A friendly, professional approach and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and trade events as required.
- A full, current driver’s licence.
- Availability for the anticipated six-month contract period.
