Business Development Associate – Corpay

Corpay is looking for a motivated Business Development Associate to join its thriving sales team and focus on generating new business in the FinTech market. This role offers the opportunity to work in a corporate sales environment, where you will be exposed to the competitive and coveted financial‑technology sector.

As a Business Development Associate you will work from our Sydney office and will be provided with:

- A dedicated workspace in Sydney, NSW
- Hands‑on, formal training
- Ongoing learning and development opportunities beyond initial onboarding

Roles and Responsibilities

Drive to achieve monthly targets by identifying and qualifying prospects.

Set appointments with prospects to conduct either an online discussion or a face‑to‑face meeting with the experienced Corpay National Account Manager.

Follow the sales process to gain knowledge and skills required to advance your career.

Continuously market prospects who are not ready to move to Corpay by making periodic calls, sending timely market updates and marketing materials.

Make regular updates to the company CRM system, Salesforce.com.

Source and generate leads for potential current business.

Qualifications and Skills

Excellent selling skills in a B2B environment.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to use cold calling to generate appointments and exceptional customer‑relationship development.





Proven ability in closing sales and a high level of customer service.

Drive to achieve monthly targets by identifying and qualifying prospects and following the sales process.
