We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Dietitian to join a public health service in regional Victoria. Grade 2 position, experience Grade 1 applicants ready for the step up are welcome to apply!
About the Role
This is a varied opportunity to work across multiple sites, providing services to acute, community and aged care clients. This is a smaller health service who receive referrals from a larger hospital.
- Location: Regional Victoria
- Start: ASAP
- Contract: 3+ months, with potential for extension
- Hours: Monday–Friday, full time preferred; part-time considered
- Rate: $55–$65 per hour + super
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct dietetic assessments and provide evidence-based nutrition interventions.
- Manage a varied caseload across acute, community and aged care settings.
- Develop tailored nutrition care plans to improve client health and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and a Grade 3 Dietitian who works two days per week.
About You
- Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).
- Clinical experience in nutrition assessment, intervention and counselling across healthcare settings.
- Confidence working autonomously and managing a varied clinical caseload.
- Strong communication, organisation and clinical decision-making skills.
