Technical Project Manager – SAP SuccessFactors / LMS Your new companyHays is partnering with a large Queensland Government organisation to recruit an experienced Technical Project Manager for a significant statewide digital transformation initiative. The program is implementing SAP SuccessFactors to deliver a up-to-date Learning Management Solution and establish foundations for workforce mobility through Employee Central. Your new roleAs the Technical Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex, enterprise-scale SAP SuccessFactors implementation. You will provide senior technical and project leadership across the program, working closely with executives, vendors, technical specialists and subject matter experts.Key responsibilities will include: Leading delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, dependencies and resources. Providing technical leadership across solution architecture, system integration, technical design, development, testing and implementation. Leading multidisciplinary teams across architecture, engineering, development, testing and data. Managing phased technical releases and complex implementation dependencies. Overseeing data transition, including migration, validation, archiving and legacy system decommissioning. Managing executive stakeholders, vendors and professional services providers. Leading operational readiness, knowledge transfer and transition into BAU. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful, you will have:



A minimum of seven years' experience in senior technical project management roles, leading complex, large-scale implementations and multidisciplinary teams. Strong enterprise technology implementation experience, ideally involving SAP SuccessFactors Learning, Employee Central or comparable enterprise platforms. Robust technical delivery experience across architecture, integrations, development, testing, data and enterprise solution implementation. Demonstrated data migration and transition experience, including legacy-system archiving and decommissioning. Experience applying methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP, ITIL, Agile or SAFe, with SAP Activate experience also well regarded. Strong stakeholder, vendor, negotiation and influencing capabilities at an executive level. Experience within Queensland Government or a comparable public-sector environment will be highly regarded, along with SAP BTP and Integration Suite experience.
