Looking for a part time role in a small, close-knit practice where you’ll be a valued part of the team?Talent Quarter is proud to be partnering with a well-established GP clinic to find a Practice Nurse to join their team in Somerville, VIC, on a permanent part-time basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Nurse who is comfortable working as the sole Registered Nurse in the clinic and is looking for a balanced 3-day week in a friendly, community-focused practice on the Mornington Peninsula.The ClinicYou’ll be joining a small, supportive team made up of:1 GP1 Enrolled Nurse1 Practice ManagerAs part of a small team, you’ll work closely with everyone in the clinic and build genuine relationships with both your colleagues and the local patient community. You’ll have the backing of an experienced GP and Practice Manager, along with the autonomy to run the nursing side of the clinic your way.The RoleThis is a part-time position working 3 days per week, 9am to 4pm. As the clinic’s Registered Nurse, you’ll work closely with the GP, Enrolled Nurse and Practice Manager to keep the clinic running smoothly.Your responsibilities will include:Childhood, adult and travel immunisationsWound care, dressings and suture/staple removalChronic disease management and GP Management Plans / Team Care ArrangementsHealth assessments, including 75+ and other MBS health checksECGs,



spirometry and other clinical observationsTriage and assisting the GP with proceduresCold chain management and vaccine stock controlRecall and reminder systemsInfection control, sterilisation and maintaining clinical stock and equipmentSupporting and working alongside the Enrolled NursePatient education and health promotionAbout YouYou’ll be a confident, independent Practice Nurse who is comfortable being the go-to nurse in a small clinic.To be considered, you will have:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NursePrevious General Practice / Practice Nursing experienceCurrent CPR/BLS and First Aid certificationCurrent National Police CheckCurrent Working with Children CheckStrong immunisation knowledge and experienceExperience with wound care, chronic disease management and health assessmentsExcellent communication and organisational skillsA friendly, professional and patient-focused approachThe ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a larger clinical teamWhat’s On Offer3 days per week | 9am – 4pmUp to $43 per hour + super, depending on experienceA permanent part-time role with great work-life balanceA small, friendly and close-knit teamAutonomy to take ownership of the nursing side of the clinicAn established, community-focused practice on the Mornington PeninsulaAmple off-street parking, and close to public transportA fully accredited practice with a genuine, supportive cultureVariety in your role, from travel vaccines and antenatal care to casts and ear syringingIf you’re an experienced Practice Nurse looking for your next permanent opportunity, I’d love to hear from you.Reach out to me on the below:✉ [email protected] 860 644
