We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Engineer (Senior Cloud & Automation Engineer) to join a high-performing Federal Government team responsible for delivering secure, modern cloud capabilities across a complex enterprise workplace. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing and enhancing cloud platforms while supporting major cloud transformation and automation initiatives. You will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Cloud Solutions Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Designing and implementing secure Azure cloud solutions across a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Supporting cloud migration, platform enhancement and modernisation initiatives.
- Developing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation capabilities to improve platform delivery and operations.
- Providing technical assurance, governance and engineering expertise across cloud projects.




- Producing technical documentation and collaborating with Agile delivery teams to achieve project outcomes.

The successful Cloud Solutions Engineer will have:

- Demonstrated experience delivering cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Strong experience designing and implementing secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Azure networking, security, governance and cloud best practices.
- Current Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Security Clearance with the ability to obtain NV2.
