Since 1997, Café de Vili's has been open 24/7, giving our customers the freedom to enjoy any meal, at any time of the day or night. Our 24/7 operation means we can offer consistent rostered shifts, with day, afternoon and night shift options to suit your lifestyle and commitments.

Whether it's breakfast for dinner, a late-night hot meal, a morning coffee or one of our famous Vili's pies and pastries, our cafés are there whenever our customers need us.

We are currently on the lookout for friendly and enthusiastic Front of House Café Team Members to join our teams at either Mile End or Blair Athol.

And while we may operate around the clock, we close on Christmas Day so our team can enjoy the day with family and friends

What You'll Do

- Welcome customers and create a warm, friendly café experience

- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently

- Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and other café drinks





- Assemble and present food items, including plating hot food and preparing sandwiches and light meals.

- Operate fryers and prepare menu items to support efficient service.

- Deliver food and drinks promptly and professionally

- Handle customer payments and maintain cash handling accuracy

- Keep service areas, displays and dining spaces clean and presentable

- Work closely with your team to provide excellent customer service during busy periods

About You

- Friendly, reliable and customer-focused

- Enjoy working in a busy and rapid-paced environment

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Previous hospitality, retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not essential

- Barista experience is highly regarded, but not essential

- Committed to providing outstanding service every shift
