Are you an experienced cleaner/labourer with a Medium Rigid truck licence or higher? Hays Specialist Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for you to join the City of Gold Coast Council's dedicated night shift team. This role offers the chance to work with Australia's second-largest local government and one of the city's most prominent organisations.
Your new role
You will be working within the City Cleaning team responsible for keeping the streets and public spaces clean for our residents and visitors to the Gold Coast. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- BBQ cleaning
- Litter collection
- Hosing down precincts
- Cleaning public facilities, including public toilets
- Driving MR trucks, water trucks and compactors
What you will need to succeed
Ideally,
you will have experience in a similar setting and respect for safety and cleanliness standards. You will be a team player and willing to get stuck-in. Mandatory requirements for this role are listed below:
- Construction White Card
- Ability to work weekends
- Two recent work-related references
- Medium Rigid Driving licence or higher
- Ability to work from 9:00pm - 7:00am
