Test and Assurance Manager | Systems Engineering & T&E;

Lead Test and Evaluation (T&E;) activities across complex systems engineering and integration environments within a major Australian Government program. This role focuses on test planning, execution, technical assurance and reporting to support the integration and operational effectiveness of interconnected ICT and communications systems.

Work Arrangement: Onsite attendance required at the primary facility.
Contract Duration: 1 January 2027 – 30 June 2028, with a possible 12-month extension.
Security Clearance Requirement: NV1

Essential Tasks

- Plan, coordinate, conduct and report on Test and Evaluation (T&E;) activities, including test methodologies, risk management and safety requirements.
- Develop and review test plans, procedures and reports, ensuring effective verification, validation and technical assurance.
- Manage test activities, facilitate Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), analyse results and assess system operational effectiveness and suitability.
- Engage project managers, engineering teams and ICT stakeholders to resolve integration issues, improve testing processes and support the broader T&E; program.

Key Criteria





- Demonstrated experience in Test and Evaluation (T&E;), preferably within complex systems engineering or systems integration environments.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases and information systems.
- Robust organisational, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coordinate technical testing activities.
- Australian citizenship and the ability to work onsite at the primary facility in the ACT. Previous ADF service or Defence T&E; experience is highly desirable.
