PANJAB BROS PTY LTD t/a Coast Indian Kitchen, located at Shop 4 2717 Gold Coast Hwy, Broadbeach QLD 4218, is currently seeking an experienced Chef to join their team in a full time role working 38 hours a week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage the preparation and cooking of food to ensure productive kitchen operations and timely service.
- Assist with menu development, estimate food and labour requirements, and arrange the procurement of ingredients and supplies.
- Monitor the quality and presentation of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and service to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with management, dietitians,



and kitchen and front-of-house staff regarding food preparation requirements and service needs.
- Demonstrate culinary techniques and provide guidance on cooking methods and kitchen procedures.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with recipes and established standards.
- Promote and enforce food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures within the kitchen.
- Assist with the selection, training, and supervision of kitchen staff when required.
- Apply appropriate food preservation and storage techniques to maintain product quality and minimise waste.

Applicants must have at least one year of relevant work experience and relevant Australian qualifications.

A salary between $79,500 - $82,500 will be offered to the successful candidate.
