Position Overview:

Pitcrew AI is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Engineer / Workshop Technician to join our team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering,



offering valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial technology environment. As a Junior Engineer / Workshop Technician, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including hardware testing, assembly, machine learning model training, and software development support under the guidance of senior engineering staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Basic Workshop Tasks:

- Conduct testing of hardware components to ensure quality and functionality.
- Assist in hardware assembly tasks as needed, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Participate in image labelling activities to support the training of object detection models.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to refine and improve machine learning algorithms.
- Aid in the development and maintenance of Pitcrew AI’s platform, contributing to both front-end and back-end components.
- Work closely with senior engineering staff to implement current features and enhancements.

Learning and Growth:

- Actively engage in learning opportunities to expand knowledge of Pitcrew AI’s technology stack and software development best practices.




- Seek mentorship from senior engineers to accelerate professional growth and development.

Code Quality and Testing:

- Contribute to coding tasks with a focus on writing clean, efficient code that adheres to coding standards.
- Assist in testing and debugging activities to ensure the reliability and performance of software components.

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
