An established automotive dealership in Brisbane’s inner west is looking for a Parts 2IC / Assistant Parts Manager. This is a practical next step for an experienced Parts Interpreter who wants to build leadership experience while remaining involved in the daily work.

You’ll support an experienced Parts Manager in a department that is already performing well. Training is available, so you don’t need to arrive with years of management experience. A positive attitude, sound parts knowledge and a willingness to take ownership will count.

The role

Your work will centre on back-counter parts interpretation, helping the workshop access the parts required for current and upcoming service work.

Alongside your interpretation duties, you’ll assist with the department’s daily operation, provide backup across the team and take responsibility for opening the department.

The service department handles approximately 30–40 vehicles a day, with parts activity focused mainly on workshop requirements.

What you’ll bring





- Automotive parts interpretation experience.

- An organised approach and attention to detail.

- The ability to work closely with workshop staff and parts colleagues.

- Initiative, reliability and a willingness to support the team.

- An interest in developing your leadership skills.

Previous supervisory experience will be welcomed, but an experienced Parts Interpreter ready for their first step up is encouraged to apply.

- $80,000 remuneration.
