Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

A progressive family owned Transport Company based on the North side of Brisbane is seeking to employ a qualified Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to maintain a fleet of more than 40 prime movers and 60 trailers. The role involves servicing, repair and preventative maintenance of European drive line trucks as well as Drop deck curtain side trailers. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the role is predominately workshop based at Narangba as well as occasional off site based.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain and service a fleet of more than 40 prime movers and 60 trailers
- Perform repair and preventative maintenance of European line trucks
- Maintain and service curtain side trailers
- Maintain high standard of work ethics and compliance with OEM and Queensland Transport standards

- Proven work history with heavy vehicle repair industry
- Results driven and self managing
- Ongoing support and training
