Dogs Social Club Burleigh is a new premium dog daycare opening in Burleigh Heads in early 2027. We’re run like a social club for dogs: members book set days each week, and their dogs spend the day playing, socialising and resting with the same group of dogs and staff. You’ll work directly with the owner to set up the facility from December 2026, then run the daycare day to day once we open.

Key responsibilities

- Work with the owner on the warehouse fit out, play zone layout and equipment
- Set up daily routines, cleaning and safety procedures
- Help recruit, induct and train the team
- Set up the booking and membership system
- Help with founding member enrolments and trial days
- Run the floor each day and supervise group play
- Manage and roster a team of animal care staff
- Assess current dogs on their trial days
- Handle drop off, pick up and member communication
- Keep vaccination records, incident reports and daily logs up to date

About you

- Experience in dog daycare, boarding,



grooming, vet clinics or a similar animal care role
- Strong knowledge of dog body language, behaviour and group play
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience
- Organised, reliable and calm under pressure
- Great with people as well as dogs
- Pet first aid certificate, or willing to get one
- Certificate in Animal Care, or similar, is a bonus
