About the role

Our Practice Manager is moving on, and we're seeking an experienced replacement to own the day-to-day running of the practice. You'll be the operational backbone of the rooms, keeping patients, surgical bookings, billing and the admin team running smoothly, working closely with Mr Clark. The role is primarily based at Murdoch, with occasional travel to our Mandurah clinic.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the rooms and the reception team

Manage patient flow, appointments and surgical scheduling and bookings

Billing across Medicare, DVA, private health funds and WorkCover

Liaise with hospitals, theatres, anaesthetists and referring GPs

Recruit, roster,



train and support administrative staff

Maintain Gentu practice records and data integrity

Ensure privacy, compliance and accreditation requirements are met

Manage supplies, accounts and practice reporting

About you

Proven experience managing a medical or specialist practice (orthopaedic or surgical highly regarded)

Strong medical billing knowledge (Medicare, DVA and health funds; WorkCover an advantage)

Confident with Gentu, or a comparable practice management system

Excellent people-management, communication and organisational skills

Discreet, calm under pressure and genuinely patient-focused

Current WA driver's licence for occasional Mandurah travel

What's on offer

$75,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience
