Summary

An award-winning engineering design consultancy is growing its Brisbane civil team and has two Mid to Senior Civil position available:

Mid level or Senior Civil Designer – 12d or Civil 3D users are okay.

As above you can either lead your own projects or be given direct support from concept through to completion, give technical leadership and help grow the team around you. The work covers land development, commercial and industrial projects across SEQ.

What you'll be doing

- Leading or Supporting land development, urban, commercial and industrial civil projects from concept to completion.
- Designing and documenting: Bulk earthworks, Roadworks,



Traffic management, Water supply and sewer systems
- Scheduling your own work and mentoring others'
- Managing budgets, variations, cost tracking, invoicing and financial reporting
- Liaising and negotiating with councils and authorities on approvals.
- Representing the business at client meetings and inspections.
- Building strong relationships with clients, government bodies and subcontractors.
- Contributing ideas on sustainability, technology and better ways of working.

Looking for

- 3 to 10 years of civil engineering experience.
- 3 to 10 years using 12d or Civil 3D for the Design role
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (experience will overcome quals though)
- RPEQ and/or Chartered Professional Engineer would be ideal but not essential
- Experience in urban and/or land development design - ideally consulting but civil contractor exp ok.
