About the Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of an established client portfolio, providing taxation and business advice while overseeing the delivery of compliance work.
This is a highly client-facing position,



with a strong emphasis on relationship management, technical review and workflow coordination.

Key responsibilities:

- Managing relationships with SME clients across Coffs Harbour and the Clarence Valley
- Reviewing financial statements, income tax returns and compliance work prepared by the accounting team
- Meeting with clients to present and finalise compliance work
- Providing practical taxation and business advice
- Managing team workflows and ensuring client deadlines are met
- Identifying opportunities to add value through proactive client advice
- Working closely with the wider accounting and support teams to deliver quality client service

About You
The successful candidate will have:

- CA/CPA Qualifed, or looking to complete
- Strong experience in Australian public practice accounting, ideally at Senior Accountant or Client Manager level
- Sound technical knowledge of Business Services and taxation
- Experience reviewing financial statements and tax returns
- Confidence managing client relationships and providing taxation advice
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate workflows
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, commercially minded approach to client service
- A genuine interest in progressing into a more senior, client-focused position
