About Our Client

Our client is a leading Australian construction materials supplier, providing high-quality concrete products to residential, commercial and civil construction projects. Their Archerfield concrete plant plays an important role in supplying ready-mixed concrete to projects across Brisbane. With a strong focus on safety, quality and operational efficiency, our client is committed to delivering reliable products and services while maintaining a protected and supportive working environment.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Batcher in Charge you will be required to work Monday-Friday, 6AM starts, 8-10 hour days. You will be based out of the Archerfield concrete plant. You will be responsible for the following duties;

- Oversee the daily operation of the concrete batching plant and equipment.
- Batch concrete to the correct mix designs, quality standards and safety requirements.
- Monitor concrete quality and report any issues or material variations.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to batchers, drivers and contractors.
- Ensure all site safety procedures are followed and report hazards, incidents and near misses.
- Complete plant maintenance requests and ensure equipment issues are reported.
- Assist with customer orders, delivery scheduling and payment collection where required.
- Support delivery scheduling and fleet coordination to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor stock levels and complete stock control and material reconciliation reports.
- Conduct regular safety and environmental audits and follow up on any issues.
- Train, coach and support batchers and drivers.
- Resolve minor site issues and identify opportunities to improve plant operations.

What You Will Need

- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Construction White Card (preferred)
- VOC or RII Loader Ticket (preferred)
- Confined Space Training (Preferred)
- Working at Heights Training (Preferred)
