Job Description

- Prepare, maintain, reconcile and monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Support long-term financial planning initiatives.
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly management reports and financial analysis.
- Provide insightful commentary and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Monitor business unit performance against budgets and strategic objectives.
- Manage financial reporting for significant capital works projects.
- Support asset capitalisation and year-end reporting processes.
- Partner with operational leaders and provide financial advice across the organisation.
- Prepare presentations and financial reports for senior leadership.
- Maintain the integrity of financial systems, project ledgers, and chart of accounts.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.




- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and legislation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant - Management Accounting should have:

- Ability to start immediately or within short notice.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
- Proven experience within management accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office proficiency, TechOne experience is highly desirable
- Experience within a large corporate, government, infrastructure, or local government workplace will be highly regarded
