Robert Half are Partnering with a growing organisation, to recruit a Project Accountant. This is a 6-12-month contract opportunity supporting several strategic projects across the organisation.

The Role

In this role, you will support the financial management and governance of key projects, partnering with stakeholders across Finance, IT, Operations and Product. You will provide financial insights, reporting and analysis to support project delivery, business case development and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and report on project actuals against budget across multiple concurrent projects.
- Develop and maintain project financial models and forecasting tools.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term project planning activities.
- Assist with the preparation of business cases for new project initiatives.
- Provide project financial reporting and insights to project teams and senior stakeholders.
- Manage project-related accruals and support month-end accounting processes.
- Provide guidance on CAPEX/OPEX treatment and project accounting requirements.
- Partner with Project Managers, IT, Operations and Product teams to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Prepare reporting for internal leadership and external stakeholders where required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across project reporting,



controls and financial governance.
- Build solid working relationships across the business and influence key stakeholders.

Your Profile

- CPA qualified.
- 6+ years' Experience
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Strong understanding of month-end accounting, accruals and project financial management.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across business and project teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
