About the role

As part of MEX's Professional Services Technical team, the Business Analyst plays a critical role in the successful delivery of customer projects, software enhancements, integrations, reporting solutions, and business process improvements. Working closely with customers, project teams, developers, and product stakeholders, you will be responsible for understanding complex business requirements, facilitating solution design, and ensuring successful project outcomes. This position is suited to an experienced Business Analyst who is comfortable working directly with stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and providing leadership throughout the requirements and delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders across technical, operational, and executive levels.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements gathering activities to understand customer objectives and business challenges.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing guidance on solution options, business process improvements, and system capabilities.
- Manage stakeholder expectations regarding scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and delivery outcomes.
- Lead discussions between business and technical stakeholders to achieve alignment and resolve competing priorities.
- Lead the elicitation, analysis, validation, and documentation of business and functional requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, usability, and customer outcomes.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.




- Collaborate with development, engineering, product, and implementation teams to design practical and scalable solutions.
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, workflow diagrams, user stories, and solution documentation.

About you

- 4+ years' experience in a Business Analyst role within software development, technology, consulting, or skilled services environments.
- Proven experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and gathering requirements from diverse business groups.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience producing detailed requirements, user stories, workflow diagrams, process maps, and solution documentation.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and delivery methodologies.
- Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
