If you've worked in caravan, RV, camper manufacturing or 4WD fit-out, you already know fit-out, trim, hardware installation and working to a production schedule. Those skills transfer directly to building boats, and we're keen to hear from experienced tradespeople looking for their next stable role, including those open to relocating to South Australia.

Northbank Boats and Camero Boats are established, iconic South Australian brands with a national dealer network, building quality fibreglass offshore fishing and recreational boats enjoyed all over Australia.

We're looking for a practical, hands-on and versatile Boat Assembly & Fit-Out Technician to join our production team.

The main focus of this role is fitting out and assembling boats, installing components and making sure each boat is finished to our quality standards. You'll also have the chance to work across other areas of production, including trimming/shaping, fibreglassing, repairs and general workshop tasks.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Fitting out and assembling boats through the production process

- Installing components, seating, hardware, accessories and interior fittings

- Trimming/shaping, fitting and finishing interior components

- Assisting with minor fibreglass repairs, touch-ups and finishing work

- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

- Supporting other production areas to keep workflow and delivery on schedule

- Keeping a clean,



organised and safe work setting

- Making sure all work meets our quality and presentation standards

About you

We're looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, motivated and proud of their workmanship

- Practical, technically minded and confident with tools

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Adaptable and willing to help across different areas of the business

- Quality-focused, with a good eye for detail

Experience in caravan or RV manufacturing, boat building, marine fit-out, automotive trimming, cabinetmaking, upholstery, 4WD fit-out or a similar hands-on trade will be highly regarded.

You don't need previous boat-building experience. We'll teach you the marine-specific side. What matters most is the right attitude, practical skills and a willingness to learn.
