THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Business Support Coordinator at Beneco, you will play a crucial role in keeping the business moving, solving problems before they become issues, and making sure every person who interacts with the team gets a professional, timely response.

You will work across a wide range of operational and administrative functions, from managing inbox and referral workflows to coordinating billing, following up on outstanding accounts, and handling correspondence with a suite of external stakeholders. While there are fundamental ongoing tasks that need to be consistently managed, no two days will be identical, and the right person will approach their day-to-day action items with the same care and attention as the complex ones.

Key focus areas include:

- Managing and prioritising inbox and referral intake across the business, ensuring new referrals are entered, assigned, and stakeholders notified promptly.

- Proactive follow-up on outstanding debtor accounts - getting on the phone, problem solving, and bringing matters to resolution with professionalism and initiative.

- Coordinating the monthly invoice run. Ensuring billing is accurately entered, invoices are sent on time, and funding is recorded in the case management system.

- Providing broad administrative and operational support across the team, including report formatting, meeting coordination, clinician scheduling support, and office management.

- Contributing ideas for improvement and flagging issues. Identifying what is not working and proactively seeking solutions.

THE SPECIFICS

Location: Rhodes, NSW - office-based, with flexibility when required

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent

Salary: Competitive; commensurate with experience

Start Date: Negotiable

THE PERSON

We are looking for someone who understands the environment they are working in and takes it seriously. The right person will bring:

Experience

- A background in administration, business support, or operations, ideally within a healthcare, medical, or allied health environment.

- Comfort working in a case management or similar system, with the ability to learn quickly and navigate software with confidence.

- Experience with financial or billing administration, including following up on accounts, processing invoices, and handling debtor communication.

What We Are Really Looking For

Skills and experience matter. But this role will suit someone who also brings the right character to the team and aligns with the Beneco approach:

- Takes initiative - sees what needs to be done, does it, and follows through without needing to be prompted.

- Solves problems, proactively approaches a challenge by finding a way forward, and takes the initiative to work towards solutions.

- Is honest about what they do not know. Someone who asks good questions, listens well, and is genuinely open to learning and being developed.

- Brings energy and consistency through showing up the same way every day and tackling their day-to-day with enthusiasm, grit, and determination.

- Has the emotional intelligence and adaptability to communicate professionally with a broad range of stakeholders, both in the organisation and external to it.

THE TEAM & THE LEADERSHIP

You will join a professional, outcomes-focused group that operates to a high standard and genuinely supports one another. The team works at pace, holds itself accountable, and takes quality seriously.

Your leader brings extensive experience in allied health and medical settings, alongside a genuine passion for developing the people around her. She leads with clarity and high expectations and is equally invested in your growth as she is in the team's results. This is the kind of leader who will challenge you, back you, and make time for you, and the right person for this role will thrive under that kind of mentorship.

As Beneco grows, so does the scope of this role. For someone who is motivated by building capability and growing alongside a business, there is real prospect here.
