Bargara State School is seeking a reliable, motivated and detail-orientated Cleaner to join our school team!

This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.55 FTE), 42 hours per fortnight.

About The Role The role is responsible for maintaining a clean, protected, and well-presented school environment by providing high-quality cleaning support in accordance with the approved school cleaning program and required standards.

Responsibilities Include

- Clean and sanitise windows, surfaces, toilets, sick bays, furniture, equipment and floors; control cobwebs and mildew; maintain outdoor paved areas; remove rubbish, litter and graffiti; and perform general cleaning duties as directed.
- Activate and disarm security systems,



and lock and unlock school buildings as required.
- Coordinate cleaning supply purchases and replacements with the Principal or Business Manager, report security, safety and maintenance concerns.
