Position: Consulting Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $95/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Flexible hours

Role Responsibilities

- Produce and review consulting deliverables such as M&A; and investment cases, post-merger integration plans, and strategic recommendations backed by quantitative analysis.
- Synthesize messy inputs like data rooms and due-diligence reports into transparent, structured, and well-reasoned cases.
- Deliver client-ready work products including crisp memos, models, and recommendations with explicit assumptions, risks, and conditions.
- Evaluate the accuracy and depth of AI-generated content to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency, relevance, and coverage across datasets.




- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- 4+ years at a top consulting or advisory firm or equivalent in-house corporate-development experience.
- Elite structured problem-solving skills and the ability to drive to a defensible recommendation under ambiguity.
- Strong financial and business acumen plus advanced modeling (LBO / 3-statement, pro forma) and executive-quality written deliverables.
- Comfort owning an engagement independently.
