About the Role

Fording Bridge Nominees Pty Ltd is seeking two experienced and reliable Truck Drivers (General) to join our team based in Malaga, Western Australia.

The successful applicants will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with road transport regulations, workplace health and safety requirements, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and manoeuvre heavy trucks to transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently.
- Position vehicles appropriately for loading and unloading operations.
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, including lifting or tipping devices where applicable.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness, safety and operational reliability.
- Monitor load weights, weight distribution and vehicle capacity to comply with legal load limitations.
- Ensure goods are correctly positioned, secured and covered to prevent movement, loss or damage during transportation.
- Verify delivery documentation, inspect goods and obtain proof of delivery or relevant customer acknowledgements.
- Follow delivery schedules, designated routes and operational instructions.
- Maintain accurate vehicle inspection records, delivery records and other required transport documentation.
- Comply with applicable road transport legislation, fatigue management requirements, workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Report vehicle faults,



maintenance requirements, incidents and delivery issues to management promptly.

Skills and Experience Required

- AQF Certificate II or III in a relevant field, or at least one year of relevant truck driving experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Hold a valid heavy vehicle driver's licence appropriate to the vehicles operated, or be eligible to obtain the required Western Australian licence before commencing duties.
- Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles and transporting goods safely.
- Sound knowledge of Australian road safety requirements, load restraint procedures and fatigue management obligations.
- Ability to conduct routine vehicle safety inspections and identify maintenance issues.
- Ability to maintain accurate transport and delivery records.
- Strong organisational skills, reliability and ability to work independently.
- Ability to safely undertake the physical requirements of the position, including loading and unloading where applicable.

Employment Conditions

- Two full-time positions available.
- Based in Malaga, Western Australia.
- Ordinary working hours: 38.
- Annual base salary: $80,000 plus superannuation.
- Employment conditions in accordance with applicable Australian workplace legislation and the relevant award or enterprise agreement.
