Data Foundations Delivery Manager | Data Governance & AI Enablement

Sydney | 6-Month Contract

We are looking to engage an experienced Data Foundations Delivery Manager to drive a strategic data governance and AI readiness initiative.

This is an opportunity to lead a high-impact program focused on establishing the data foundations, governance frameworks and controls required to support future enterprise AI initiatives.

We're looking for a dynamic, commercially minded delivery leader who can navigate complex stakeholder environments, drive outcomes and translate data strategy into practical execution.

The Opportunity

Working closely with an established Data Architecture & Governance Lead, and supported by a team of Data and Quality Analysts, you will take ownership of delivering a critical data foundations program.

Your focus will be on ensuring the right governance structures, processes and controls are established to enable trusted, high-quality data and future AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a strategic Data Foundations and Governance program.
- Establish and operationalise data governance frameworks, controls and processes to support AI readiness.
- Drive delivery across data quality, ownership, accountability and governance initiatives.
- Partner with the Data Architecture & Governance Lead to translate technical strategy into actionable delivery plans.
- Coordinate Data and Quality Analysts to achieve program milestones and deliverables.
- Engage and influence senior executives, business leaders and technical stakeholders.
- Manage delivery timelines,



dependencies, risks and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure governance initiatives deliver measurable business value and support future AI capabilities.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering enterprise Data Governance, Data Foundations or Data Transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality, controls and data management principles.
- Experience delivering AI initiatives, AI enablement programs or establishing data foundations for AI adoption.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong program delivery capabilities, balancing strategic objectives with hands-on execution.
- A proactive, adaptable and outcome-driven approach.

Highly Desirable

- Experience delivering enterprise AI programs beyond Microsoft Copilot implementations.
- Exposure to AI readiness, data governance for AI, or enterprise AI transformation.
- Experience operating within large, complex organisations undergoing data modernisation.
