About Us
The Customer Engagement team operates globally to ensure our customers have the trust and confidence to use our products. The customer is at the heart of everything we do. We lead with transparency in how we communicate and in the security, marketing and technical information we share. Security is a critical part of our customers' onboarding journey, and we help them move forward with confidence.
We are seeking an experienced Principal Information Security Customer Engagement Engineer to represent our team across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
Based in Sydney or Melbourne, this is a unique chance to become the senior security voice in the region, working directly with enterprise customers, collaborating with global security and product teams, and shaping how security enables business growth. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will own customer security engagements end‑to‑end, provide expert guidance on our products and security practices, and help reduce security‑related friction throughout the sales cycle.
Your expertise will directly contribute to stronger customer relationships, increased trust, improved customer satisfaction and enhanced brand reputation.
Why Join Us?
- Own the region as the dedicated Information Security Customer Engagement specialist for Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
- Work at the intersection of security, customer engagement and innovation, partnering with customers and internal stakeholders to solve complex challenges.
- Influence product direction by working closely with Product Management to help shape future security capabilities.
- Drive meaningful impact by helping customers navigate security and compliance requirements with confidence.
- Leverage AI and automation to streamline security engagement processes and focus on higher‑value customer interactions.
- Join a globally connected team while making a tangible impact in your local market.
What You’ll Do

- Lead customer security engagement calls and complete security questionnaires, providing timely expert support that helps win and retain business.
- Maintain exceptional quality standards across all customer interactions, ensuring trust, transparency and clarity.
- Curate and maintain local Trust Center content and customer‑facing security materials, ensuring information remains accurate and accessible.
- Collaborate with Product Management to bring relevant security capabilities into the product roadmap, helping reduce the volume and complexity of customer security reviews.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives across security engagement activities, including the growing use of AI to support security questionnaire responses.
- Support additional business engagement and compliance activities as required, reflecting the broad scope of this regional role.
Key Skills & Experience

- Trust Center management
- Customer‑facing security documentation and brochures
- Security contract language reviews
Independence & Initiative
- Proven ability to operate autonomously as the sole information security customer engagement resource within a region, managing priorities and delivering outcomes with minimal day‑to‑day oversight.
Communication Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts clearly and build trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
AI Fluency
- Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and automate workflows while applying sound judgement to security‑related activities such as questionnaire responses and assurance processes.
Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in information security, including significant experience in customer‑facing security assurance, GRC, or pre‑sales security within a software or SaaS environment.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor are advantageous but not essential. Practical experience and expertise are highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of frameworks and regulations including:
