FIG is a digital-first healthcare platform seeking an endorsed Nurse Practitioner to support medical weight management and care delivered through FIG's agreed clinical protocols. You'll bring advanced clinical judgement to patient consultations, help people understand their treatment and work closely with doctors, nurses and clinical operations to maintain continuity of care.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive telehealth consultations, reviewing medical history, medicines, allergies, symptoms, relevant observations and patient goals.
- Assess suitability for telehealth and the relevant care pathway, identifying contraindications, clinical risks and situations requiring face-to-face assessment.
- Diagnose and develop individualised management plans within your competence, authorised scope and FIG's clinical governance framework.
- Request and interpret investigations, prescribe and adjust treatment where clinically appropriate and authorised, and follow through on results and outstanding actions.
- Review treatment response, weight trajectory, adherence, wellbeing and medication side effects.
- Explain treatment options, expected benefits, risks and follow-up requirements to support informed decisions.
- Help patients work towards sustainable nutrition, activity, hydration and behavioural goals.




- Identify when treatment needs review or a patient requires specialist or face-to-face care.
- Build supportive patient relationships and explain clinical information in clear, accessible language.
- Work with FIG doctors, nurses and operations colleagues to coordinate care, referrals and follow-up.

About you

- Current Australian nursing registration with NMBA endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Based in Australia with the right to work here.
- Advanced assessment, clinical reasoning and prescribing skills relevant to the role.
- Strong communication, documentation, organisation and follow-up skills.
- Confidence using digital clinical systems and delivering evidence-based, culturally respectful care.
- Sound judgement about your scope, the limitations of telehealth and when to seek additional clinical input.
- Experience in medical weight management, obesity care, metabolic health, primary care or chronic disease management.
- Experience managing patients using GLP-1 therapies.
- Telehealth, care coordination, health coaching or motivational interviewing experience.
