SMAART Recruitment is partnering with an established Melbourne-based data and technology business to recruit a Senior Sales Executive. The business provides identity verification, AML/CTF and data products through its software platforms and APIs.n

n With established products, growing demand in Australia and plans to expand internationally, they’re looking for someone who can open new doors and take larger deals from first conversation through to contract.n
n
The rolen

n
- Develop new business across Australia through your network and proactive outreach
n
- Understand client needs and position the right identity, compliance or data solutions
n
- Manage the full sales process, including discovery, proposals, negotiations and close
n
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders and navigate longer enterprise sales cycles
n
- Work with product and technical colleagues on complex client requirements
n
- Share market feedback and support less experienced sales colleagues
n

We’re looking for someone who is:n

n
- Experienced in winning current B2B business and managing deals through to contract
n
- Confident building relationships with senior decision makers
n




- Comfortable selling SaaS, API or data products and explaining how they solve client problems
n
- Able to create their own pipeline while progressing existing opportunities
n
- Interested in mentoring others while remaining hands-on in sales
n

Experience in identity verification, AML/CTF or financial crime technology would be highly regarded. Strong salespeople from related SaaS or data markets will also be considered.n
