What we're looking for

A strong background in hands‑on software engineering is essential.

Significant experience developing production applications, APIs or distributed systems.

Robust programming capability, ideally Java, Spring Boot or similar backend technologies.

Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, CI/CD and modern engineering practices.

Understanding of authentication, authorisation, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect or API security.

Experience designing and supporting highly available, business‑critical platforms.

Ability to influence technical decisions and mentor engineers.

Previous experience in banking, financial services or large‑scale digital platforms would be advantageous.

Important: This is a software engineering leadership position, not a traditional IAM administration or security governance role.
