We are looking for a reliable and compassionate female Support Worker to support an NDIS participant in Cranbourne.

This is an ongoing opportunity for someone who is looking to build a long-term and supportive working relationship with a participant.

About the role:

- Friday shifts, with potential for additional Monday shifts
- Support with household cleaning and laundry
- Assistance with maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
- Community access and social support
- Assistance with everyday tasks and routines
- Support with basic animal-care-related tasks

The participant has multiple pets, and the home environment can at times be challenging, including strong odours. The successful applicant must be comfortable working in this type of environment and able to provide support in a respectful, patient and non-judgmental manner.

The participant may also require additional patience, encouragement and emotional understanding, particularly when managing daily routines and household tasks. Building trust and a positive rapport is an important part of this role.

- Compassionate, patient and reliable
- Comfortable supporting with both support work and household tasks
- Confident working independently
- Able to build trust and rapport with the participant
- Comfortable around multiple pets
- Comfortable working in a home where there may be solid odours
- Respectful, non-judgmental and understanding
- Interested in a consistent, long-term arrangement

Requirements:

- Female applicant
- Previous NDIS/disability support experience preferred
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Infection Prevention Control
- First Aid & CPR
- Current police check
- Valid Australian work rights
- Reliable transport and driver's licence preferred
