Farsi-Speaking Disability Support Worker -Preston

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Farsi-speaking Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to an NDIS participant in Preston.

Hours:

- Monday to Sunday
- 10:00am – 3:00pm
- 5 hours per day

Location:

- Preston, Victoria

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with daily living activities and personal tasks to support the participant's independence.
- Provide support with household tasks and maintaining a safe and comfortable home setting.
- Assist with meal preparation and nutrition-related activities.
- Support community access, social participation and engagement in recreational activities.
- Accompany the participant to appointments and community-based activities as required.
- Provide transport assistance where appropriate and in accordance with NDIS funding.




- Promote the participant's choice, independence, wellbeing and achievement of their goals.

Essential Requirements:

- Fluent in Farsi.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (if applicable).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- Experience supporting people with disability preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This role requires a respectful, patient and person-centred approach to support the participant to live independently and actively engage in their community.

Pay: $40.00 – $80.00 per hour
