Located around 25 minutes from Hamilton CBD, the school supports students from across Hamilton and the wider Waikato region and has recently benefited from a major upgrade.

The focus is on building on what already works well — lifting student outcomes, developing staff, and continuing to strengthen a positive school culture.

About the Role

As Principal, you will:

- Lead the overall direction and day-to-day performance of a Year 3–13 school
- Drive strong student achievement and wellbeing
- Lead, coach and develop teaching and support staff
- Use data and technology to support continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships with students, families and the wider community
- Work closely with the leadership team and governance representatives
- Maintain high standards across teaching, learning and school operations

About You
You’ll be a New Zealand registered teacher with recent school leadership experience

You’ll bring:

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A driven, professional and practical leadership style
- Confidence using data and technology
- Sound judgement and strong decision-making
- The ability to lead within established frameworks while still bringing initiative
- A clear focus on student outcomes and developing people

A secondary background would be particularly well suited to the Year 3–13 environment,



although strong primary-trained leaders will also be considered.

Strong Deputy or Assistant Principals ready to step into their first Principal role are encouraged to apply.
