Job DescriptionLead the electrical construction delivery of a major Western Sydney data centre project on a senior, site-base NYour new companyn An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an international organisation delivering a major data centre development in Western Sydney. N Working within a highly experienced project team, you will operate in a client-side capacity, helping oversee the electrical construction delivery of a large, technically complex mission-critical project. N Your new rolen As the Electrical Construction Manager, you will take a leading role in the safe and successful delivery of electrical construction activities on site. N You will oversee electricalcontractors, monitor construction progress and programme, manage quality and compliance, and work closely with the wider construction, design, HSE, QA/QC and commissioning teams. N Key responsibilities will include: N Managing electrical construction activities, contractors and day-to-day site delivery N Monitoring electrical installation progress against programme and key project milestones N Reviewing scope, project obligations, inclusions and exclusions N Evaluating construction methodologies and site execution strategies N Identifying and managing construction risks, issues and potential programme impacts N Working with design teams to resolve RFIs, design clashes and constructibility issues N Leading coordination and progress meetings with contractors and project stakeholders N Maintaining a strong focus on WHS, quality and compliance with relevant Australian Standards N Monitoring project schedules, construction progress and quality performance N Providing construction input into regular project reporting N Supporting QA/QC and commissioning activities throughout the construction life cycle. N Coordinating construction-to-operations handover N Monitoring substation procurement and construction activities, power-on milestones and utility interfaces N Building strong working relationships across contractors,



consultants and the wider project team N These responsibilities align directly with the attached Construction Manager brief, including its requirements around contractor management, programme execution, construction methodology, design coordination, reporting, handover and substation/power-on activities. N What you'll need to succeed N To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring: N 10+ years' construction management experience N Strong electrical construction and building services experience N Experience managing contractors and major construction packages N Strong understanding of MEPinterfaces and multidisciplinary services coordination N Knowledge of Australian Standards and WHS requirements N Strong understanding of construction programmes, quality and site delivery N Experience working with design, HSE, QA/QC and commissioning teams N Strong stakeholder and contractor management capability N Confidence identifying and resolving construction and constructibility issues N Proficiency with relevant project management tools and software N The flexibility to travel within Australia when reasonably required N Formal degree qualifications are desirable. However, equivalent industry experience and relevant professional qualifications will also be considered.
