Job Description
/n Join a well-established and supportive general practice in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. /n /n We are seeking a caring and motivated Registered Nurse to join our friendly clinical team and contribute to providing high-quality, patient-centred care to our local community. /n /n This is a casual or part-time opportunity, reporting to the Practice Manager. /n /n Enrolled Nurses with general practice experience will also be considered. /n /n

Responsibilities:
/n /n
- Deliver high-quality clinical nursing services to patients. /n
- Assist doctors with consultations, treatments, and procedures. /n
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and wound care as required. /n
- Provide health education and advice to patients on a range of health issues. /n
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records. /n
- Lead and mentor nursing staff to support professional growth and consistent care delivery. /n
- Contribute to the development and review of nursing policies, procedures, and clinical protocols. /n
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities. /n




- Participate in practice accreditation and other complaince. /n /n /n Skills and Experience /n /n
- Strong clinical skills – some experience in General Practice is desirable. /n
- Ability to work independently. /n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and skilled approach. /n
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. /n
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. /n
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems. /n
- Recalls and Reminder management using software systems. /n
- Working knowledge of Best Practice software. /n /n /n Qualifications and Requirements /n /n
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution. /n
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA. /n Experience working as a registered nurse in a GP setting for two years or more is desirable. /n /n
